U-Turn For Christ is a residential drug and alcohol discipleship program dealing with men who are seeking restoration from drug and alcohol addiction, through our Lord Jesus Christ. We are based entirely on the Word of God, the Bible, and get all counsel from it. It has been our experience that with a solid grounding in the Bible and good Christian living skills, men and women have been able to become productive, vital members of their community. Our primary focus is to establish or strengthen a relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the only way to true freedom from the bondage of the sin of addiction.

In Phase-1 of our program, participants spend a minimum of two months at one of our U-Turn for Christ Ranch locations. Participants stay in military-style quarters, one large room filled with bunks. This type of housing promotes healthy fellowship. “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend” (Proverbs 27:17). Throughout the day, participants are involved in morning devotions, daily chores, volunteer community service, evening Bible study, and nightly personal devotion time.
The second phase of the program is six months long, and comes with two possible paths to travel. Some return to work, pay a monthly donation, and attend church with first phase in the evening. Others are chosen to commit six months of service to the Lord, and are provided for by the ministry. This last choice comes with considerable sacrifice. Servants of Christ can be called on at all times to serve in many different ways. The six month period does not have to be the end. Many who return to work stay a year or more choosing a higher level of accountability and fellowship for their lives. In addition, many who have stayed on to serve in ministry are now serving at other facilities in the United States, and around the world.
The ministry of U-Turn for Christ Oregon was established in 2008. Since it’s opening, the Lord has allowed U-Turn to be a beacon of light to those trapped in the bondage of addiction. God has use U-Turn for Christ Oregon to help transform the lives of the men in the program, as well as their wives, children, and extended family. 
 
God Has Been Faithful Throughout The Years.
Since the moment that U-Turn for Christ Oregon opened it’s doors, God has been faithful to provide for the ministry. God has brought steady growth to the ministry. When we first opened our doors, U-Turn for Christ Oregon began with a handful of men at a time. Now we are operating at maximum capacity with a waiting lists of several months long.
 
Where God Guides He Also Provides.
As the Senior Pastor of the ministry, nothing breaks my heart more than having to tell someone seeking help from their bondage to an addiction they have to wait to get help. God has opened the door to a new facility that would be able to double our current capacity and give us the freedom to expand as our ministry continues to grow.
 
Restoration Ranch – A Larger Property to Serve Others.
This property is 166 acres and is located along the Rogue River in Grants Pass, Oregon. This property includes a beautifuly renovated farmhouse built in the 1800’s, capable of housing upwards of 40 men. This ranch-style property provides an ideal setting to minister to the men participating in the U-turn for Christ program.
The property itself is an ideal place for both work and recreation – with areas for gardening, pastureland, raising livestock such as cattle and horses, nature trails, and access to fishing on the Rogue River that runs the length of the property.

Our greatest need is partners in prayer, committed to lifting the ministry of U-Turn For Christ in prayer. This opportunity to have the capacity to serve more men, families, and children will require those who feel lead to come along side the ministry and support it financially.

Robin has a heart for people and desires to help them with the struggles they’re going through by pointing them to the Bible and God’s character for answers, truth, and hope. As a contractor, heavy equipment operator, and business owner, he has a friendly, authentic, and consistent approach to counseling that will put you at ease. A near lifelong Christian and student of God’s Word, Robin is passionate about “speaking the truth in love” as described by Ephesians 4:15.

I’ve been with U-Turn for Christ for 4 years and have dedicated my life to Jesus. I’m a new creation due to a stupid past of drugs/alcohol, crime, and sinful natures. I’ve totally dedicated giving my life over to the Lord and donating my time and love for U-Turn for Christ. I have been doing yard work and some landscaping to help the community as well as help the men learned trades and for donations to help U-Turn for Christ.
 
My goal from here on out is to help others and bring them closer to Jesus as well as better my life for others. It’s time to give back instead of take!
